Soybean Oil - For Diesel Engine.

A Chiropractic in Topeka,KS was inquiring about machineries available in India to crush soybean and extract oil, Looks like he got some good feedback from his friend about a similar machinery he imported from India. I got a bit curious and he explained why he wanted to extract soybean oil, to use it on Diesel engines. He have been using a 50/50 mixture for his Agricultural tractors and Pick up Truck. Some more facts he gave ...

1) Canola / Rape seed Oil is very close to Diesel in Composition, But requires a lot of care to grow it.
2) Soybean requires little care, and it helps them introduce nitrogen into the soil (Crop Rotation)
3) He have been using some chemical process to remove the excess glycerin from Soybean oil
4) He have been Pre-Heating the Fuel before using it in the engine.
5) From his experience Didn't have much problem with Fuel Injector / Engine
6) And above all he is helping his country in his own small way to achieve energy independence.

I was amazed ..... By the way if you know some one who is selling Indian made machineries in US Please let me know.
